There is a shortage of more than 10 million healthcare workers worldwide (WHO). Low-income countries bear the burden of 70% of that shortage, while the few available health workers are seeking opportunities in more developed countries primarily because there is not enough work available in their countries. It is difficult to push for the creation of the desperately needed programs and schools if there is no program available to accompany those who have already graduated and are struggling to survive while their communities lack basic healthcare services.
NurseHab is a new start-up for-profit organization that is selling Laundry Bags, products that are needed and are relatable to nurses’ work. A significant portion of the benefits from the sales will go toward funding International Nursing Partnerships’ programs.
Shop on NurseHab and take a picture of the laundry bag with your laundry basket, add any recommendations you may have, send it to us at info@nursingpartnership.org.
International Nursing Partnership current programs are:
– Sharing the professional experiences of nurses, their motivation, and source resilience
– Sending books to nursing schools in need
– Connecting nurse-led projects with resources
– Providing entrepreneurship coaching to nurses in low-income countries
