What We Do

Our vision

All communities have access to high-quality nursing care.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating opportunities for nurses to provide the highest quality service as community health leaders seeking to solve their communities health challenges.

We are committed to promoting high-quality care that is organized around patients, families, and communities needs and preferences.

We empower nurses to be community health leaders taking initiatives to solve pressing health problems.

We build partnerships with public and private organizations to provide nurses with the necessary resources.

Nurses have a unique perspective on the most pressing healthcare challenges in their community. Our program empowers them to take initiatives by helping them find the necessary resources for training, material, and transport.

The need for nursing leadership

In the past decades, there has been a constant increase in the rate of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease requiring long-term monitoring and a more personalized approach to health delivery and community-oriented prevention tools.

Impact of nursing leadership

As the largest group of health professionals and the caregivers closest to patients and community, nurses bring invaluable insight to health challenges and the knowledge to develop innovative solutions to ensure healthy lives and create tools to promote well-being for all at all ages.

Developing and managing partnerships

To better serve their patients and community nurses need to feel empowered to build and manage partnerships with others health professions, local organizations, and businesses.

Achieving sustainable development goals

A healthy community is active, productive, creative and able solve its problems and make the world a better place for future generations. To achieve that goal nurses have to bring in their perspective and shape care delivery.
