NURSES AS COMMUNITY HEALTH LEADERS

Nurses have a unique perspective on the most pressing healthcare challenges in their community. Our program empowers them to take initiatives by helping them find the necessary resources for training, material, and transport.

The need for nursing leadership

In the past decades, there has been a constant increase in the rate of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease requiring long-term monitoring and a more personalized approach to health delivery and community-oriented prevention tools.

Impact of nursing leadership 

As the largest group of health professionals and the caregivers closest to patients and community, nurses bring invaluable insight to health challenges and the knowledge to develop innovative solutions to ensure healthy lives and create tools to promote well-being for all at all ages.
